John Austin Geyer is the consummate dreamer. Diving into challenges and opportunities is his passion and forté. During his time as a United States National Diving Team member, John learned that the beauty of individual achievement is only reached via positive thinking, goal-driven structure and consistent training — all while maintaining the respect, composure and teamwork skills required of someone that is representing his country internationally. John was humbly inducted into the La Canada High School's Hall of Fame for his athletic achievements.
After retiring from his athletic role, John took his final dive in 2020 at The University of Southern California, where he had been training for six years, and switched his focus to aesthetics, his other life-long passion--With his new career as an Interior Designer. In an effort to develop detail-oriented, formative designs, John brings the aforementioned skillset to his work. John received his degree in Interior Design from FIDM in 2013, where he was awarded a scholarship at FIDM's Debut Runway show for design excellence in his custom design and manufactured chair.
John began creative design consulting for high net worth private clients in 2012, and has considerable experience in the luxury interior design industry, where he has worked as a Senior Designer/Project Manager and Design Director at two notable high-end residential interior design firms in Los Angeles, California. In those roles, John was responsible for all aspects of the design process, from designing schematic plans, drafting construction drawings packages, overseeing, directing, and managing the design phases and construction timelines of multi-million-dollar-budget projects, including a project to redesign the interior of a Beverly Hills residence for a royal family.
Now focusing on JAG Design, John is ready to make a splash, and aspires to display his creativity and enthusiasm for design in a broader spectrum.
